Appeal Delays Forks Weis Markets Construction Project

The Express Times is reporting that an appeal filed by Scott Gingold and the Residents Who Care may delay construction of the Weis Markets planned for Uhler Road and Sullivan Trail for up to a year.

this is a very good thing in my opinion and i am pro business. That corner is already bad, and until they fix both bridges, i dont think they should even consider it.

I would tend to agree with you. While having a supermarket closer than having to run to the Giant in either Nazareth or Forks, or put up with the traffic trying to get in or out of the Wegmans/Wal*Mart/Redner's "section", there is entirely too much traffic coming through town now, and with our bridge(s) in such a state of (dis)repair, putting a halt on this project (for now anyway) might be the best for all of us.
